I’m Irish. I’ve lived in Ireland most of my life. Do we celebrate Thanksgiving in Ireland? No. Do I love it anyway? Yes.
I mean, what’s not to love?! The food? The opportunity to hang out with loved ones? The gratitude and focus on giving thanks? Honestly, I don’t know why Thanksgiving hasn’t become a worldwide celebration. And seriously, even for the decorating opportunities alone, I’d be all for it.
